Reviews For Woman's World Magazine

Woman's World is Real!

Woman's World is very inexpensive compared to other magazines. It is filled with real things instead of all ads like some others. I have been reading Woman's World for many years and I really enjoy doing so. To me it's filled with real life stories, great recipes, great beauty tips and encouraging ideas.

I read the Woman's World cover to cover and usually keep each issue for a while so I can go back to certain articles that really interest me. To me there is no other magazine like it. It's not all ads and it's about real people and their lives. They have articles about different types of weight loss and different kinds of home remedies.

A little relaxation in a busy world

After purchasing Women's World magazine at the grocery store regularly for almost a year I've decided that it is definitely worth the money so I will finally purchasing a subscription. This magazine is enlightening and always seems to provide me with something to help me forget about the stresses of everyday life. The cakes that they manage to create each week are always easy enough for just about anyone to create and look good enough to impress the pickiest family member.

The mini mysteries, life and romance stories are always a treat, well written and entertaining. I also enjoy the quick craft projects that are inside. It's always nice to find new ideas. The recipes are wonderful. They are always coming up with a special twist on an old favorite or something you may never have tried before.

The one somewhat negative comment I have about this magazine is the diets. It seems that everyone is losing what could be considered dangerous amount of weight in little time, for example losing ten pounds in 10 days. However there are some good recipes and ideas that can be taken from these "diets". This is what should be focused on in my opinion rather than copying day for day what is being presented. The best way to lose weight is through regular exercise and sensible eating and if the recipes and meal ideas in this magazine help then they are worth it.

Overall, I really enjoy the magazine and simply can't wait each week to get it. I hope that if it interests you that you'll enjoy it as well.

Pleasantly surprised

This is a magazine that I was actually surprised with. I figured it was just another woman's magazine filled with unrealistic fashions, and unrealistic models. My mistake.
This is a great magazine that does articles about real people, and real lives. I first read this magazine in our eye doctors office, I couldn't put it down, and secretary there allowed me to take it home so I could finish the story I was reading. They do a great job. The recipes that I have read seem to be easy to follow, and healthy. The topics discussed appear to be thoroughly researched and very informative.
I would definitely recommend this magazine to a friend.

Woman's World: a winner!

I have been reading Woman's World since it began. I am an avid reader and at the first not much impressed by what I perceived as skimpy, flimsy paper and few pages. I was wrong. It is jam packed with human interest stories, informative, accurate, cutting edge articles on health, nutrition, exercise and medicine. The stories about families, tragedies, overcoming, etc. are always encouraging and upbeat.

There are household hints (decorating, cleaning, storage, etc.) and recipes. A full range of subjects just for homemakers. This is a magazine for the down-to-earth woman, one who buys her clothes off the rack and cooks meals for a family. Of course, single women also enjoy it.

I must admit there are times when my budget is tight, and I know Woman's World will give me a lot of value and pleasure for a small expenditure. I congratulate the staff and editors. They do a bang up jobs of keeping my interest with a lively, colorful, fun-to=read magazine. I recommend this magazine highly.

My woman's world

I love Woman's World I think it is the best magazine in the WORLD. I have been reading it since it has been out. I often cry at some of the articles. I think the joke and the Red Face article is so good. I am giving a subscription to my mother as a gift this year. There are real life stories that just touch my heart and amusing articles too. I was so glad when they came out with subscription, for many year there were only at news-stands. And if I couldn't get one it just ruined my week. That is how much I love this magazine. The only draw back are when they put out a subscription they had to put in ads. But that is ok.

Keep a box of tissue ready

I enjoy reading Woman's World on a regular basis. They have great recipes, diet tips, money-saving ideas, uplifting stories, and lots more ideas to make life better. While I enjoy each section of the magazine, I especially enjoy the true stories. There are stories of rescues, marriages, births and heroes. The majority of the stories are tear jerkers though, so have a box of tissue handy.
In each issue there is also a story from the Chicken Soup for the Soul books. Each month they choose a different volume to share a story from and they are always very touching.
There are also many recipes in each issue. There are some scattered throughout the magazine as well as some you can rely on to be there each month. There is always a guilt-free gourmet recipe, recipes to go with the diet plan of the week, four tear-out recipe cards, and a recipes for a complete meal. I have tried many of these recipes and they are fairly simple and use common ingredients. Many of the issues also have creative cake decorating ideas.
Overall, this magazine is a great woman's magazine that touches on all the points in a woman's life.

Woman's World Wins

I am an avid fan of the magazine "Woman's World". They have upbeat, encouraging stories that are from real people and real walks of life. They are informative and give you alternatives to look at in your life. You do not have to wade through mountains of advertisements.

Probably the only thing that I do not care for in this magazine are the outlandish outfits they show which are way above budget for the every day person and the interiors of homes are not realistic at all. I do not believe that the majority of people could stand all of the clutter in their own home that they call decorating.

Over all, the magazine focuses on good things that happen in real people's lives and it is encouraging and upbeat.

Woman's World in MY World

Woman's World magazine is just absolutely great in my opinion. I started reading this magazine when it first started . . . and I still read it today. My mom usually purchases this magazine and then passes them onto me and then I give them back and she passes them on to others.

What I like most about this magazine is that they offer such a different variety of things that cover just about every aspect of life. Knowing that these are true stories always make the articles seem more personable too. I also have found some wonderful recipes in them.

One of my favorite items though are the little bits and pieces of information that are placed throughout. Like the "was my face red" section and the cartoons about things kids say and do. I love them and sometimes will cut them out and put them on my refrigerator to keep.

I enjoy reading before I go to bed and I also have short breaks at work when I can read and these magazine are great for that because the articles and stories are short and sweet.

A+ magazine!

I began reading Woman's World about 5 years ago and have not stopped since. This magazine has it all, great family stories, wonderful recipes, diet programs, horoscopes, home decorating tips, and much more.

My favorite part of the magazine is the inspirational stories about women overcoming all the odds to have babies. It truly made me believe in myself when I didn't think I could have any more children.

The magazine is inexpensive and is published weekly. I pick one up on my weekly trip to the grocery store and it works out great! I have something to read over the weekend, every weekend!
