We as a family are the proud owners of a Rottweiler,Britany Lou. She is a gorgeous,lovable,caring,lazy dog. Dog fancy has great articles on the care of all breeds of dogs. The articles are informative and even if they do not deal with the Rottweiler breed specifically,most of the information here is useful for this breed.

Care on dogs in general.Diet,bathing,medicines,homeopathic remedies,just to name a few. Also the need for regular vet checks are approached and recommended thoughout this magazine.

The products sold thoughout this book for the most part are top quality and has been petchecked. We also enjoy the pictures of other breeds of dogs as well as the articles due to the fact that we are thinking about becoming parents again,to another dog i should say. Recommended for anyone with a dog.This magazine can only help,never hurt to have too much information.

This magazine is something I truly wait for in the mail. I love the breed reviews that they give each month. I have 4 dogs of my own, and have had numerous dogs throughout my life. I find that the breed reviews have matched well with the dogs in those breeds that I have owned. I have learned a lot about other breeds through this magazine. It has helped me to think about what type of dog I would like to have in the future, and also about what type to eliminate from further consideration.

Dog Fancy also gives useful,clearly written advice about nutrition,health, training, and just having fun with your furry family member. New products are discussed. Dog shows are highlighted giving you the chance to check them out. Also, in the back of the magazine is a large listing of breeders of every type of dog you can think of, giving you the ability to find the puppy or dog of your choice.

This is a fun and informative magazine. A good one for dog lovers to curl up and relax with.

Dog Fancy is the only magazine of this type I have ever really gotten in to. I have a good friend who is a breeder, and she recommended this one to me. I have never felt the need to look for another

This magazine has something to offer everyone, and I find it one of the most informative magazines out there for my furkids. Great pictures, interesting facts and information and relatively cheap make this a two thumbs up!

For anyone that is looking for a very good Dog magazine with loads of helpful information on Dogs of all sorts of breeds, you should subscribe to this Magazine.From the front cover to the back page, Dog Fancy is interesting.Each month a different breed of dog is featured in detail. Many Photo's showing the breed as a pup and also as an Adult which is helpful for the Novice person looking for different breeds.The pro's and con's of the breeds are explained in detail such as type of coat, size, weight, whether or not their good with children, their disposition is discussed, their qualities that they were bred for, such as working dog, hunting dog, etc. Dog Fancy also contains different articles each month on a variety of subjects dealing with anything from the latest Health Issues, training, breeding and other dog related subjects. In the back of the magazine are lists of different dog breeders from all over the USA and other countries. Also, lists of advertising for those that are looking for just the right item for their doggies.

This is an excellent magazine. It is filled with interesting facts and helpful tips that are sure to encourage and present the "dog" in a positive, yet simple way. It is sure to show the good things about owning a dog, but still includes the responsibilities of caring for this animal. It is satisfying to know that a magazine is devoted to the health and care of your animal. This is a very reassuring feeling that shows the beauty and companionship of the dog. It is always full of ideas, and hints to caring for your dog. If you were still debating the idea of buying a dog, it would surely entice your decision. This is a fantastic magazine.

Dog Fancy is a great magazine. I like it so much because, It is where I first found a picture of the dog breed that I wanted. The magazine cost (where I live) 3.99 an issue. It has great training tips, product tips and breeder listings. IT has very Imformative articles. They also do articles of the different breeds. Since getting this magazine I have seen many different breeds of dogs, some that I didnt know existed and others I had never seen before. I recommend that every dog owner should get this magazine for the loads of information they will get out of it. I dont subscribe to the magazine, I buy it monthly as it seems like I save in the long run.

Dog Fancy is an ideal way to learn about man/woman's best friend (is that obnoxiously politically correct?) and can be helpful to the novice or the advance dog lover. The magazine, in addition to covering different breeds is very informative about health problems, grooming tips, and behavior issues.
Each issue the mag features a breed (pictured on the cover) and offers wonderful, colorful photos. The columns are informative as well as entertaining-- at least to those of us who love to read about our four-legged friends. Another great thing about the mag (and how many mags can we really say this about?) is the "gallery" where breeders advertise. The pictures alone are worth the mag price. It's like a catalog of dogs!
In general the mag is great except that sometimes it lacks diversity in the breeds of dogs covered and photographed (I love goldens and labs as much as the next reader, but a little more variety please!!) Check this one out.

I can't wait to get my copy every month. The only problem is my dogs won't let me read it in peace. The magazine has helped me with handling my tribe both individually and as a pack. It also has good information on health issues. There are enough pictures that if I don't have time to read I can learn just by flipping through it. The annual puppy issue is my fave but I also love the Westminster coverage.
I have pomeranians and would like to breed them and possibly show them. Dog Fancy always tells me when there will be a dog show in my area. I have used their resources to meet other pom breeders and hopefully through continued reading of Dog Fancy I will become a responsible and ethical breeder. And in the future I will use it to find homes for my puppies.

I have been receiving Dog Fancy magazine and I love it. Each month it gives you great articles about different breeds of dogs. It also helps you to discover many things that you didn't know about a particular breed of dog. Great. Helps you decide if that's the dog for you or not. It has great articles about real life situations with pets. It also has some great helpful hints for you if you have an ailing pet. More than once, I have shed tears over some of the stories, because they are real.I also like the feature that they have where you can find just the right breed of pet that you want in the back of the magazine. Makes me want to buy all of them. Great magazine.

Articles cover a wide range of topics, including shows, training, breeds, activities with dogs, stories, editorials, products and more important issues that matter to dog owners! The monthly breed spotlight with its pull-out poster, is a great way to introduce readers to a breed that they may have never seen or heard of before. I especially appreciate the wonderful photography and the accurate portrayals of different breeds and important issues relating to dog ownership. This is a definite "don't miss" if you're interested in a quality, accurate and entertaining magazine about dogs.
